Part of the fun of photographing babies, is planning the newborn photo session!
I like get to know the family a bit before we actually meet for photos. We usually talk on the phone ahead of time, and chat about photo ideas that would be fun and/or meaningful to incorporate into the session.

In this case daddy loved football! Little Carter is just a few days old here, not much bigger than a football himself! We had fun bringing out some of daddy’s favorite things for his son’s very first baby photos. And because I mostly photograph babies right in the comfort of their own home, we are able to easily incorporate those special little items… I love to create images that are meaningful to your family, images that you will love forever ♥
