family photos should be fun! | family photographer la quinta ca

We actually took these photographs last month, but I still wanted to share… We were able to get all of these great images and more during a holiday”mini” session. It was only about a 1/2 hour session (maybe even a little less!)… we explored the park, we played, and walked away with great images and fun family memories. I truly believe that family photos shouldn’t be a painful event. I really, really try to keep it fun & lively for everyone. You just can’t force kids to pose and “smile”, trust me (I’ve learned the hard way), it doesn’t work! And I know, sometimes as a parent, you worry that your time with the photographer will be wasted if you can’t get baby to smile BIG. Don’t worry, relax, you don’t have to stress out about that. I come to each session prepared with a few tricks up my sleeve, a few ideas to get the party started : ) . So, if you’re ready to have fun, your children will be too. And that is when the magic happens! See below – there was no begging or bribing here,  just good times! Enjoy ♥
