…and that he was! The reason I photograph newborns within the first few days of life is because typically they are still so sleepy, making it easier to take their first portraits. But not little Judah, he was just barely over a week old when we took these images, and he was pretty much awake for the whole session! This little guy was so happy to be home and discover his new world. But you know what, he was so very content and calm, just looking around, that it actually worked out very well. I”m actually really glad that he was awake, because otherwise we would have missed out on his beautiful big blue eyes!

But first, a few images I just have to share, of his gorgeous mother…we met for this maternity session on the day Judah was due. It was only just a few days later that he was born. I really do love the way these turned out. ♥ Enjoy!
