At 8 months old, the world is so exciting to your baby! They are probably starting to sit unassisted, and right about now they are just starting to realize that they can also move themselves a bit. They might be scooting around, or creeping (more like pushing themselves around on their bellies), and some may even be starting to crawl. I remember my boys used to do the funniest things at this age… They would get up on their hands and knees and just rock back and forth forever! It was almost as if they were “revving up” to take that first step at crawling. They would do this for weeks until they got the courage to extend that little hand and take that first “step” {{ so cute! }}.
